BatteryClear Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-09-22

By downloading or using BatteryClear, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. Where local law requires a higher age for independent consent, a parent or guardian must authorize use.

2. The service

BatteryClear helps you understand supported battery and charging observations, follow local history, and check device conditions. Supported data varies by platform and hardware. Values labeled as estimates are calculations, not direct charger or battery-cell measurements. Missing values do not imply a healthy or faulty device.

Device checks and AI explanations are informational. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and cannot certify battery safety, diagnose a hardware defect, predict battery life, or replace advice from the device manufacturer or a qualified repair professional. Stop using a damaged, swollen, or unusually hot device and follow the manufacturer's safety guidance.

3. Accounts, data, and acceptable use

Core local features do not require an account. Optional account and sync features require access to your email and network service. You are responsible for protecting account access. You retain rights to the records you create; you grant us only the rights needed to process and synchronize data for features you choose to use.

Do not use the app to violate law or third-party rights, bypass security or subscription controls, interfere with service operation, submit another person's private information without authorization, or resell the service without permission.

4. Subscriptions, trials, and promotions

Optional Pro features may be offered through monthly, quarterly, and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. The exact price, currency, billing period, trial, and promotional terms appear in Apple or Google before purchase.

Every supported core fact and basic device check remains available without Pro. Pro may add longer history, comparisons, relevant alerts, and deeper explanations where the platform supports them.

5. Availability, privacy, and intellectual property

Features can depend on device capabilities, permissions, connectivity, store availability, and operating-system behavior. We may improve, secure, replace, or discontinue parts of the service. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

The app software, design, original copy, and service components are owned by or licensed to Little Crab App. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app under these Terms.

6. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, BatteryClear is provided "as is" and "as available" without a guarantee of uninterrupted service or measurement accuracy. Little Crab App is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for BatteryClear in the preceding 12 months or USD 100. Mandatory consumer rights and liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will communicate material changes in the app or by another appropriate channel before they take effect. Applicable law and mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence continue to apply. Before starting formal proceedings, contact us and allow 30 days for an informal resolution where permitted by law.
