1. Scope and contact

This policy explains how Little Crab App processes information when you use BatteryClear on iOS or Android. Contact littlecrabapp@outlook.com with privacy questions or requests.

2. Battery and device observations

The app reads battery level and charging state, and may read supported thermal, power-mode, device, and operating-system information. Available measurements vary by platform and device. The app identifies estimates and unavailable values instead of presenting them as direct hardware measurements.

Charging sessions, device checks, preferences, and recent history are stored on your device for the app's core features. They remain on the device unless you choose an online feature that needs them, such as account sync or an AI explanation. The app does not read other apps' private content or collect precise location for battery analysis.

3. Optional online features

If you sign in, we process your email address, account identifier, and authentication events to provide account access. If you enable sync, the app sends the records selected for synchronization to an App-specific Cloudflare service so they can be restored on your devices.

When you request an AI explanation, the app sends only the relevant supported observations, timestamps, trends, and uncertainty labels needed for that request. Cloudflare processes the request and its Workers AI service generates the explanation. AI output can be inaccurate and is not a new measurement. We do not use your observations to train our own AI models.

4. Purchases, analytics, and diagnostics

Apple or Google processes purchases. We receive product, transaction, status, and related metadata needed to verify membership, restore access, and handle store events. We do not receive your payment-card details.

Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics may process app-use events, app version, device and operating-system information, installation identifiers, and crash diagnostics to measure reliability and improve the app. Cloudflare may process request metadata needed for delivery, security, abuse prevention, and service operation. We do not use advertising identifiers or sell personal information for targeted advertising.

5. Retention and controls

You can remove local history through the app's controls or by uninstalling the app. Optional synced data is kept while the related account and service remain active.

Delete your account and associated data

In the app, open Me → Settings → Delete Account, review the confirmation, and choose Permanently Delete. You can also request deletion without using the app by emailing littlecrabapp@outlook.com from your account email address and naming BatteryClear. We may verify that you own the account before completing an email request.

Deleting your account permanently removes your account access and deletes or de-identifies account-linked app data, including optional synced records, within 30 days. Local records on a device are removed through the app's controls or by uninstalling it. We may retain purchase and transaction records or limited security and dispute records when required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations; those records are kept only for the applicable required period. Contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion where app controls do not cover your request.

Delete selected data while keeping your account

You can clear local history in the app. To request deletion of selected synced records while keeping your account, email littlecrabapp@outlook.com from your account email address and identify the records you want removed. We may verify account ownership. We delete the identified app records within 30 days, except the limited purchase, security, dispute, accounting, or legal records described above.

You may use core local features without signing in. You can decline optional AI explanations, stop sync, and change permissions in the app or device settings. Disabling an online feature stops new transfers for that feature; it does not by itself erase information already sent.

6. Security and international processing

We use encrypted transport, access controls, and App-specific service and storage boundaries. No system can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process data outside your country; applicable local rights and mandatory transfer protections continue to apply.

7. Children, rights, and changes

BatteryClear is not directed to children under 13. Where local law requires a higher age for independent consent, a parent or guardian must authorize use. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to processing and to complain to a data-protection authority. We will review requests under applicable law.

We may update this policy as the app or its providers change. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by another appropriate channel before they take effect.
